It has been the center of social activity in the Pickering Passage area

The view creates a magical setting located on 200 feet of the beautiful Pickering Passage. Sunlight sparkles off the water as Mother Nature whispers through the majestic trees, celebrating your enchanted day.
Sunlight streams into the schoolroom through wavy glass, now over a century old, illuminating the original oiled fir floors. Other items from the time period include the single and double desks and slate blackboards. With this ambience, it's easy to be transported back in time.
This historic one-room schoolhouse was built in 1914 and closed in 1942. It is now home of the Pickering Community Club which is dedicated to the preservation of this historic landmark, sharing about the early days of education and providing community support.
